The process Joseph K. suffered not for the idea and for the absence of such a general nature in this world There is also a crime the protagonist is quite clear and demonstrable -. it is present conductive, as opposed to all that surrounds it. Dolls, covered with human skin, drive around dance and act out his play. Change roles, masks, costumes and wigs. Confused words, coming up with absurd scenes, change the scenario in the course of the play. Dolls jailers, judges, doll-wife, doll-mother and executioner doll, which should cut off his head. Hangman with the prison director dig an underground passage to the chamber a prisoner to make a surprise for him, his wife comes in the last meeting with all of your family and a new lover, and on the eve of execution in honor prisoner suit almost firework. Ousource ADPC Precument to Tejari
Ousource ADPC Precument to Tejari Introduction Procurement outsourcing involves the outsourcing of a companyââ¬â¢s major procurement operations to another organisation. This research study focuses on investigating how effective it would be to outsource ADCPââ¬â¢s procurement activities to Teraji. In order to accomplish this, the study must first investigate the need to outsource, and subsequently analyse the efficiency of outsourcing to Teraji.Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on Ousource ADPC Precument to Tejari specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More It is important to consider outsourcing the procurement activities of ADPC due to the important role procurement plays in supporting the core competencies of the company. While procurement does not stand as one of the organisations core competency, it remains an important function in the company as it is one of the only activities that takes place in all three-core competencies. The Problem With th e increasing complexity in Abu Dhabiââ¬â¢s fleet management, it is important for companies in the maritime industry to focus on accomplishing their core competency activities. Procurement (an element of company logistics) is the major non-core activity, which results in time and resource consumption. Considering that ADPCââ¬â¢s major functions include the maintenance, refurbishing, and development of the seaports, it is possible to outsource procurement. Should ADPC effectively implement these outsourcing activities, it will be able to maximise the potential of available time and resources. Due to the increase in fleet flow in Abu Dhabi, it is important for the management of ADPC to consider the possible applicable measures for improving its performance. The major way to do this is to ensure that the company limits its key performance indicators to the available resources. Thus, it is necessary for ADPC to outsource other time and resource consuming organisational activities, which may include procurement. The proposed solution In order to solve the problem of complex procurement, and to allow the ADPC focus on its primary goals, this project seeks to investigate the feasibility of outsourcing ADPCs procurement operations to Tejari service. In procurement outsourcing, a company transfers all, or a major part, of its logistics functions to third party companies.Advertising Looking for research paper on business economics? Let's see if we can help you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Learn More Procurement outsourcing may be done to cut down costs or to create room for the company to concentrate on other significantly important organisational operations. Considering that the core company of ADPCs operations is measurable based on its ability to ensure effective fleet management in all commercial seaports, it may be necessary to outsource some of the activities that are less related to the organisations key performance indicator. The major functions of the ADPC are to ensure swift response to maintenance, refurbishment, and improvement of each port it oversees. These activities are not only tedious, but also require high levels of procurement and inventory management. In order to ensure that it can effectively focus on its core operations, ADPC needs to outsource its procurement activities to a company that is formidable and permits procurement via up-to-date methods. Tejari is an electronic marketplace that facilitates real time trading between different companies over the internet. Tejari has an experience of more than ten years in internet procurement and offers excellent services to many companies located in the Arab Gulf. Tejari offers extensive internet based procurement and logistic services. With over 100000 clients using Tejariââ¬â¢s internet based purchase systems, the company is now known for its honest, cost-efficient and excellent procurement procedures. It is anticipated that if ADPC outsour ces its procurement activities to Tejari, it would have more time and resources to focus on performing its core operational activities. While procurement is a major element required for ADPC to accomplish its core operations, it is important to note that procurement is more of a secondary operational function driving the companyââ¬â¢s success. Therefore, there are no considerable risks associated with outsourcing the procurement operations of the company to Tejari.Advertising We will write a custom research paper sample on Ousource ADPC Precument to Tejari specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Assessing Tejariââ¬â¢s Efficiency It will be necessary to investigate how effective Tejari will handle ADPCââ¬â¢s procurement activities. Tejariââ¬â¢s efficiency will be measured by performing a satisfaction survey targeting some of its current and past clients. The survey will measure different satisfaction variables ranging from the us er friendliness of Terajis online procurement interphase, to the physical promptness of the companys service delivery. The outcomes of the survey will be analysed to identify the customer satisfaction levels of the participants as the types of services the customers appreciate. This way, it will be possible for the researcher to recommend the best approach ADPC should follow in outsourcing its products to Teraji. Conclusion This outline presented an overview of the activities that would be contained in the report. While a solution has already been proposed for ADPC to follow in order to increase its focus on its core operations, it is important to investigate the efficacy of applying the proposed approach. This outline summarized the proposed solution. It also explains the process the report will apply in examining the effectiveness of the proposed approach. A survey analysis will be used to investigate the satisfaction levels of previous Teraji clients; their responses will be used to draw conclusions, hence a final recommendation.

Standard Alignment Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words
Standard Alignment - Essay Example Language arts mainly consisted of lessons to be learnt, poems to be recited, and grammar to be understood. If we consider standard alignment in the learnings we had, it can be said that the courseware and the approach was horizontally aligned. By horizontal alignment we mean that the standards, curriculum etc. was in accordance with the age of a child and the content delivered to any child of that age was both sufficient and necessary. Since the knowledge of language is not only restricted to knowing how to speak and write, it is very much required that all parts of language are covered in the early education which will also help cultivate interest in the child for the language. Therefore, the early education was horizontally well aligned. Another subject of major importance was Maths. Maths is a subject of vital importance as it marks the beginning of a calculated approach. A Briefe and True Report of the New Found Land of Virginia (1590) Assignment
A Briefe and True Report of the New Found Land of Virginia (1590) - Assignment Example sometimes ââ¬Å"vâ⬠represents the /u/ sound as in ââ¬Å"vnto.â⬠Definitely, however, the culture did not care about the sound as much as they cared about the spelling. On the other hand, since the same word is spelled consistently like ââ¬Å"watcheâ⬠and ââ¬Å"solemne,â⬠it only seems that English culture may not be sloppy but may be one that favors someone in a hurry to take down notes. Due to the intricacy of the picture in terms of detail, it is possible that the engraverââ¬â¢s skill and tools were satisfactory. The artistââ¬â¢s skills may also be good enough as he was able to draw the Indian village using third-dimensional point of view. Through the publicists, people may learn that the people of the New World are rather peace-loving and united as a community. They will also be thought of as organized and religious. However, some Europeans may view them either as primitive because of their use of fire, or as fit to be used as slaves as they cultivate good plants like tobacco and corn. The Indians gather around a broad plot to meet with their neighbors, to celebrate their solemn feasts and to engage in merrymaking after the feast. The Indians also assemble themselves together to say their solemn prayers. There is also a place where they make fire to light up their feasts. The two observers made such observations and clearly and carefully documented the activities of the town of Secota because they wanted to somehow get a blueprint of what it is like to live among the Native Americans. The observers did this because they themselves wanted to establish a settlement in that place. To the Europeans, a clear understanding of the life of Native Americans is essential to building a long-lasting and harmonious relationship with them. The two observers provided realistic portrayals of Indian culture because they made such claims from an ordinary observerââ¬â¢s point of view. There were no details or explanations as to why the Indians were meeting their neighbors or conducting

Employee Retention and Interviewing Essay Example for Free
Employee Retention and Interviewing Essay When Southwest Airlines wants to hire employees, they tend to have 142,000 applicants. They obviously want to choose the person who will suit their organizational culture the best. To achieve this objective they need to ask the right questions when interviewing the applicants. These questions should be such that they provide a clear picture as to which applicant will be best for the job and the organization as a whole. You can use behavioral-based job interview questions to help you select superior candidates. Ask interview questions that help you identify whether the candidate has the behaviors, skills, and experience needed for the job you are filling. (Top job interview questions to help you select the Best, Susan M. Heathfield) Before starting the interview the interviewer should describe the essential functions of the job and ask the interviewee if he can perform those functions with or without accommodations. (http://www. alllaw. com/articles/employment/article13. asp) The first competency question should be related to the ability to recruit and interview applicants, ââ¬Ëhow often during your last job did you need to interview applicants and describe a situation in which the first impression of the applicant could have altered your judgment. ââ¬â¢ Through this question the interviewer may get an idea of the prejudices the person might or might not hold. Southwest Airlines need to make sure that their employees do not discriminate against certain races and are able to handle all sorts of situations hands on. The second question is related to the employeeââ¬â¢s ability to perform reference checks on potential employees. ââ¬ËWhen a former employer was not willing to provide information about a potential employee, how did you handle the situation and perform the necessary reference check? ââ¬â¢ this question will help the Airlines figure out if the employee is responsible enough to go through the necessary procedure or would overlook some things and carry on. The third question is about the employeeââ¬â¢s ability to plan and conduct regularly scheduled organizational orientation programs. Tell me about an incidence where last minute changes were made in the orientation plan, these changes were not known to you. How did you cope with these lat minute changes? ââ¬â¢ this question will help identify the employeeââ¬â¢s capabilities in a chaotic situation. For airlines these situations are quite common and such a characteristic will be beneficial for the organization. The fourth question is connected with the employeeââ¬â¢s ability to prepare and explain HR policies and procedures. ââ¬ËTell me about a situation where there was a revision in the company policy and the employees did not take the change well. What did you do? This will help the employer or interviewer for Southwest Airlines find out the opinion of the employee about some policies and procedures that may be adopted by the company or already exist within the company. The fifth question is about the employeeââ¬â¢s ability to develop and maintain up-to-date job descriptions. ââ¬ËHow many job descriptions have you developed in your time as an employee here at Southwest and what were some of the major difficulties you faced while carrying out your work? ââ¬â¢ this question will help understand if the employee will be able to assess the applicantââ¬â¢s capabilities and send him to the department that suits him best. The sixth question for the employee should be based on his ability to administer a compensation program and monitor salary increase recommendations to ensure compliance with merit increase guidelines. The question here will be, ââ¬Ëwhat is your view on performance appraisals, are they necessary or not, do they motivate employees to do better on the job? ââ¬â¢ This question will help understand what the employeeââ¬â¢s are expecting and what benefits they want for the jobs they perform on a weekly or daily basis. By asking these questions from the existing employees, the top management at Southwest Airlines will know the sort of employees who will be screened out from the 142,000 applicants. The number of employees they actually need is 4000, thus the company needs to be careful as to who they hire and retain. By interviewing the interviewers beforehand the organization is making sure they hire the right people. Also, when your interview questions ask the applicant to tell you about behaviors and actions she has actually demonstrated in the past, your selection process will improve.

In the world today there are many cases of people who do not get help when they might have PTSD until they have already hurt others. When any event causes the sufferer to remember the feelings associated with how they felt during the event that caused them to have post traumatic stress disorder, their rage could get hard to control if they do not get the help they need. In these characters and every human in real life, there is good and there is bad. Jekyll did not want to be caught being a criminal, the Whitesââ¬â¢ tried to be sensible about their wishes but still took a wish they did not need, Mrs. Drover feared and worried too much, and Miss Strangeworth did not mind her own business. Most foreign people know what Bejing opera is, but Chinese national Opera has a long history and 275 species of Chinese operas have been saved, there are a wide range of operas were not extended yet, Cantonese opera is very popular in the south of China, many Chinese people prefer Cantonese opera to Beijing Opera. Return on Investment MBA Education Funding Essay
As change happens, we can take the fact that Masters of Business Administration degree is still a constant to embrace. In between the complex setting, a modern manager must still do what managers in every past era had to do in order to become successful. Recently, the once-lonely voices of demur have advanced into choruses of recrimination when the practical value of an MBA degree is in question. They say that MBA curricula are inaccessible with the real world desires, claiming that the degree is over-hyped and many programs have a culture which turns a blind eye to deceit. If businesses follow the naysayersââ¬â¢ advice, $100,000 tuition fee or the crucial decision to pay huge bucks to hire an MBA might start to look like less of a sound investment (CBS MoneyWatch, 2007). My decision to obtaining an MBA is not only personal, but also professional. The pursuit of an MBA degree is surrounded by many negative connotations. Questions arise regarding whether or not the pursuit will increase the Pay range of a person with an MBA versus a person without an MBA. Simmering and Wilcox identified 5 factors that largely affect the decision to pursue an MBA graduate degree. The five factors centre around the career exploration opportunities, personal prestige associated with the MBA, goals for improving and developing interpersonal skills, increasing career mobility and entrepreneurial aspirations. The Graduate Management Admission Council survey carried out by Simmering and Wilcox, discovered that that the MBA Class of 2012 had 69% into mid-level jobs, with 21% taking entry-level positions, 8% taking senior-level spots, and 1% taking the executive positions. This is considerably worse when compared to last year, where only 17 percent of the class went to entry- level spots, while 14 percent of the total went into senior-level jobs, and only 3 percent accounted the executive position (Lavelle,à 2013).Housing market crash will impact on the value and positions or jobs that an individual with an MBA graduate degree will get. For instance, since 2007, the economy has played a huge part in not only downturn and fluctuations, but also landing jobs. In MBA class of 2011, the average full time salary for MBAs that were employed was $79806, a year over a year decrease of 5.4% or $4,533, not including the inflation (Brewer & Brewer, 2012). The Graduate Management Admission Council survey also calculated the return on investment and considered it ââ¬ËStellarââ¬â¢. The alumni recouped a third of their B school investment within a year of graduation, 100% 4 years out, doubling the monetary value after 10 good years. On statistics, if a person obtains an MBA is not a full guarantee to getting an executive level spot after graduating. It is more of investing that has the highest probability of paying off over time. The survey as it pertains to the return on investment is simply looking at the B schools, which solely would imply the A schools return on investments is speedier and higher. Therefore, it might not be the actual degree rather the school that a person obtains his or her MBA degree which will impact on his or her potential income. For instance, I can refer to my cousin as a good example of the impact of obtaining an MBA. She studied at Princeton University for her masterââ¬â¢s degree and after her graduat ion it took her 3 years to get employed. She found that because she was younger and the degree program which she chose, was actually intimidating to older managements. She also encountered remarks of her being ââ¬Å"too qualifiedâ⬠for all jobs. It became so frustrating for her. Similarly, so many people reason that an ââ¬ËA schoolââ¬â¢ masterââ¬â¢s degree means an automatic employment with high salaries, which is not usually the case. My investment decision will be based on the returns I get. The payback period for my accounting occupation will for instance be; payback period is obviously between 3 and 4 years as the identical initial outlay is $110,000 which is between $90,000 and $170,000. For exact period, Payback period for my desired occupation = 3years + ($110,000 ââ¬â $90,000) / $79,806 = 3 years + $20,000/$50,000 = 3 years and 4.8 months. The NPV for my accounting occupational will be; Net Present Value @ 12%; Years 1 2 3 4 Net Cash flow (NCF) $000 20 30 40 50 Cost of Capital @ 12% 0.893 0.797 0.712 0.636 Present Value $000 17.86 23.91 28.48 31.8 5 70 0.567 39.69 141, 74. Net Present Value = $141,740 ââ¬â $110,000 = $31,740. The IRR for my accounting occupational will be; Internal rate of return = positive rate + (positive NPV / (positive NPV + negative NPV)) x range of rates = 20% + ($2,880 / ($2,880 + $10,860)) x (25% ââ¬â 20%) = 20% + ($2,880 / $13,740) x 5% = 20% + (0.21 x 5) = 20% + 1.05 = 21.05% Internal rate of return for my desired occupation= 21.05% and is a good one since it is greater than cost of capital. A main factor that most objectionable to an MBA is the monetary cost of obtaining the degree. Tuition fee can range from $30000 to $ 50000 per annum. Other expenses raises the cost to about $85,000 yearly, implying the cost of about $170000 in two years. Although the cost for an MBA may be quite high, according to a statistics by the Graduate Management Admission Council, the average package for an MBA in the last ten years was $110000, which is up from the average of $87,000 in 2007. The average salary of graduates with a Bachelorââ¬â¢s degree in 2011 was $48351. The difference between an MBA and Bachelorââ¬â¢s is an increase of 195% or $45649. The ââ¬Ëreturn on investmentââ¬â¢ is 171.7 %, using the cost of $170000 from and the average increase of salary over a bachelorââ¬â¢s degree for a ten year period (Lavelle,à 2013). Different people have varying reasons as per MBA value, when it is about obtaining it. The reason I have for obtaining an MBA is personal and is something that I have always wanted in my life. It may not be of benefit to me in my current job in terms of earnings potential income, but I believe it will make me more marketable if I decide to change careers or companies. Many statics show a path of MBA negativity from a viewpoint of new graduates without careers versus those with careers, those with who are employed and are from the a-schools versus the b-schools. I believe MBA is of more benefit to those individuals who have a career and are looking for new career change or looking to moving up in their own personal companies. If a person is feeling stagnant in his or her career, then getting an MBA will be the excellent way to take himself or herself to the next level. For most people an MBA will open up more new opportunities, whether it is a career that will makes more sense for your life and skills or a career that will promote you to a better position within your company. The act of getting an MBA shows that you are serious about your potential to succeed and other people are most likely see you in a higher regard because of undertaking such an action. For most people, MBA continue to be the building block of ultimate success. References Brewer, Kristen L.; Brewer Peggy D. (2012). Influencing variables and perceptions regarding MBA degree programs. How to Pack for College Quickly and Not Forget Anything Itââ¬â¢s time to embark on a new adventure. Youââ¬â¢ve already secured your room, counted down the days until move-in and figured out your class schedule. The only thing thatââ¬â¢s left is packing up. Many students become a bit stressed looking at that long packing list and wondering how to pack for college. If youââ¬â¢ve already completed your back-to-school shopping youââ¬â¢re likely staring at a huge pile of sheets, curtains, pencils and more. Moving isnââ¬â¢t easy but with the right tips it doesnââ¬â¢t have to be a challenge either, and it doesnââ¬â¢t have to take days of your time to pack for college. Keep Those Hangers One of the easiest ways to streamline your packing process is keep your clothes on their hangers. All that taking shirts off the hooks and rolling or folding them into boxes just doesnââ¬â¢t cut it. Youââ¬â¢ll need to hang them up once you arrive anyway, so why not cut out a few steps. Make a list of the clothes that youââ¬â¢ll need and set them asidehangers included. If youââ¬â¢re thinking about keeping your bedding in those boxy packages from the store you probably donââ¬â¢t know how to pack for college. Jokes aside, hereââ¬â¢s an awesome pro tip: use your pillowcase as a mode of transport. Take your fitted and flat sheet and any additional pillowcases and fold them inside of one pillowcase. This is especially easy if youââ¬â¢re bringing new sheets to college because theyââ¬â¢re already super small from the factory packaging. This way, everything is right where you need it, the set is kept together and you can just grab and go. Pillows can be used as cushioning in the car or in certain boxes to protect more fragile items like a lamp. If thereââ¬â¢s no need for extra padding in your current packing situation, then simply place them in a plastic bag and stuff them in those awkward spaces in the car. by Kelly Oribine Luggage is For Packing Sooo Youââ¬â¢re most likely going to take a roll of luggage or two. Close Reading Interpretation of a FilmFavela Rising Movie Review
Close Reading Interpretation of a FilmFavela Rising - Movie Review Example He starts a revolution in order to offer an alternative life to the youth other than trafficking. He uses music as a device to make people aware of their oppressive condition and the ones who were causing and sustaining that condition. The documentary shows that the entire Favela society was plagued by the evil of trafficking because the culture was not internalized by the youth or the elderly. The prestige and power attached with a drug lord or the traffickers was something that attracted all the boys. A young boy talks about this in the movie. He says that drug traffickers have motorcycles and they get all the girls and talks about having plans about pursuing this path to get these perks. This lack of internalization of culture was identified by Sa who started the Afro Reggae movement to help the youth embrace their culture. With workshops they helped them to learn music and create awareness through revolutionary lyrics. Not only does the movie talks about how drug trafficking and violence is making life miserable for the residents it also talks about the failure of the state, the government and police to stabilize situation. The documentary suggests that the corruption is the main cause of misery. Drug trafficking is flourishing because of the corrupt police who help the traffickers. Apart from highlighting what the problem is, the film also points out the cause. It suggests that the police officials are corrupt because they are paid very less and they are not trained. Lack of proper training and control results in their inhumane behavior and brutality and low wages force them to be corrupt. The documentary shows how the people of the town are afraid of dying one day. Saââ¬â¢s girl friend for instance says that she is scared that one day she will also be a victim of this violence. This can happen on any random day, in a market or street or school. The people of the town have no security at all. While the entire world is tangled in the knots of consumerism and competition of living the best and luxurious life the concern of these people on the other hand is just security of life. The documentary is one sole reason why the people around the world are now aware of the miserable condition of the people living in this town of Brazil. While the entire world weeps with the Israeli martyrs there is no one looking at the misery of these innocent sufferers in Brazil. The number of deaths in this part of the world is however far greater but still unnoticed. Hence the film gives these people a voice and tells the entire world their story. The film is showcased in a way that every individual is immersed in it. Spectatators connect with the characters and live their experiences. The film is compelling. This inspirational story of a social activist tells the world that social change is possible. War or arms are not the only way to end discrimination or violence. Alternatives are always possible. Though the cinematography, raw interviews and live s cenes carve the hearts of many, some critical observers may argue that at some instances the movie leaves no room for interpretation and gives a definite frame, beginning and ending to the audience. A lot of times the scenes were all created. These were not natural shots but these scenes were created. Cinema techniques and software tools were used to enhance
